Bright Idea: LED Table Lamp For Your Dining Table

led table lamp for at home dining room table

I had a lightbulb moment a few weeks ago as it relates to dining table lighting.

One of the reasons dining at a fancy restaurant is so delightful is because of the lighting. It’s not too harsh and, often, every table has a candle or mood light of some sort. You can recreate that ambiance at home with a candle or an LED table lamp for your dining table.

The lighting in our dining room is not ideal, especially in the dead of winter. But that has changed now that I placed an LED table lamp smack dab in the middle of the table. No more centerpieces.

It’s all about the lighting now and I’ve never been happier…or better able to see what I’m eating.

Since we only use our LED table lamp while eating dinner, I’m only charging it every two weeks or so. That’s not bad at all!

If we had long, leisurely dinners, I’d have to charge it more often. We don’t, but if we did, that would be a happy tradeoff!

Ours charges with a USB-C cord like many other devices.

I can help you with ambiance and lighting when it comes to dinner time. I cannot help you with the food, dishes, or complaining children. I’m good, but not that good.

I am still smitten with the LED table lamp we bought, but I found some other LED table lamps that I might love even more. That’s saying something.

Check these out!

Wick Rechargeable LED Lamp | Lumens

Love the old and new candle style of this LED lamp. The brass is pretty but I think you’ll like the matte black even better.

Crystal LED Lamp | Amazon

I hardly saw any crystal-looking lampshades paired with a rechargeable LED table lamp in my search, so this one caught my eye.

Fatboy Bolleke LED Indoor/Outdoor Lantern | Rejuvenation

I am mentally redesigning our outdoor dining areas to include a light like this indoor/outdoor lantern. A few of these would look so cool hanging from the tree by our pool.

Bird LED Lamp | Amazon

Stick a bird on it! I know this little bird lamp is probably supposed to be for a nursery but I thought it would look good on a bookcase or side table in my own house.

Also, the bird comes off the stand.

O Bright Portable LED Lamp | Walmart

It could be the pictures, but this LED table lamp is definitely giving restaurant vibes and I’m not mad about that.

Lantern Style LED Lamp | Amazon

The lantern style of this LED lamp has me thinking about dinners on the deck in the summer. I don’t know if this lamp can get wet though.

Waterproof LED Lamp | Amazon

That last lamp might not be waterproof, but this one is! I like the wood grain on this table lamp, but this lamp comes in other colors including a dusty pink that is terrific.

Moon LED Lamp | Walmart

This moon or globe LED lamp would look fun placed on a bookcase or on tables at a wedding reception.

While I’ve settled on our dining room table as the primary home for our LED table lamp, there are so many other places it could be used such as on a shelf, kitchen counter, piano, nightstands, side tables, a puzzle table, etc.

So many possibilities. I may need to get another LED table lamp…or two.
