Have you ever wondered about all the ways to reuse a basmati rice bag? Have you ever bought rice in one of these bags?
Royal brand basmati rice is sold in the neatest burlap bag. It has handles. It has a zipper. It has neat typography. It has bold colors. It can hold at least 20 pounds. In short, it’s amazing and something that could definitely be reused.
Here are 14 ways to reuse a basmati rice bag.
1. Turn it into wall art.
2. Use it as a grocery shopping bag.
3. Use it to store potatoes, onions, and any other vegetable that needs ventilation.
4. It’s the perfect bag to hold other bags. We all have a bag collection.
5. Keep storing rice in it, especially if you buy a different brand of rice that doesn’t come with a bag.
6. Use it as a gift bag. Then it’s someone else’s problem.
7. Store small things in it like cables, dog toys, Christmas ornaments, etc.
8. Use it to cover plants to protect them from a freeze.
9. Store flower bulbs in the bag during the winter.

I will say, I have enjoyed reusing these bags over the years. I mainly use mine for storing potatoes or to hold other bags of rice. Keep in mind that the burlap does shed a little, at least at first. Also, I’ve heard the ink can run on the bags if you get them wet, so watch out for that.
