Family

Hello.

I swore I would never start a blog. In fact, my husband and I would joke when we’d take pictures of a DIY project that they were for my “Never Blog.” So when we decided we were moving from Oregon to the Atlanta area, I thought I should start a blog. You know, to keep the family up-to-date… and to remind myself to never say never.

So, here we are getting ready to leave Oregon in T minus 9 days. WOW!

I’m currently letting my 3 year old do this so I can write my first blog post.

What you can’t see is the vacuum just out of frame. Not to vacuum up the mess. No, no. That would be too easy. I had just vacuumed when I had the brilliant idea to let him have sensory play time. So, yes. This blogging process is going to need some refinement. Either that or I need to teach my blogging assistant to work a computer.

I thought I’d use this blog to document our adventures in Georgia. I’m guessing that normal life plus a move to a completely different part of the country is bound to generate one or two laugh-out-loud moments. (Probably a few pull-my-hair-out moments too.) Hopefully, we are mainly laughing and learning through all of this! I’ll sleep well at the end of the day if I know that wherever we are and whatever we are doing, we are pretty darn happy doing it together.

Have a happy day!
