I’ll bet you didn’t know a soup tureen fall centerpiece was a thing, did you? Around here it is, especially since I’m always looking for ways to repurpose everyday items into festive decor. Piano Wire Pumpkin
I can’t wait to show you my newest creation – a piano wire pumpkin! I made it with all the usual suspects: piano wire, a saw blade, a damper poker, copper wire, and leather. This project was like those cooking shows where you are given a random assortment of ingredients and you have to come up with an amazing dish to wow the judges’ taste buds. DIY Leather Pumpkin
Last year I made a trio of denim pumpkins out of a pair of my husband’s old jeans. I had so much fun cutting up those jeans creating those pumpkins that I decided I had one more (at least for now) pumpkin craft in me. In the spirt of reduce, reuse, repurpose and pumpkin-fy everything, I decided to DIY a leather pumpkin. Yes, leather! Everything else has been used to decorate faux pumpkins. Why not leather too?
